The world can move forward even without America, learn lessons from declining empires: Chinese President’s blunt message

History has proven that every empire has faced decline, Chinese President.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has warned world powers that the world can now move forward without America, and if America loses the respect of the world, it will face the same fate as the declining empires of the past.

The Chinese president said that history is witness that every powerful empire considered itself invincible, but the sun of each one eventually set. He said that 100 years ago, the British Empire dominated global trade. People thought that the sun of this empire would never set, but there came a time when Britain retreated from the global scene.

Xi Jinping added that 200 years ago, France dominated the horizon of Europe, and there was a time when the Spanish throne ruled from Manila to Mexico. The Spanish kings believed that their greatness would last forever, but history has proven that every empire has faced decline.

The Chinese president said that if the US believes that it is forever indispensable in global politics and economics, it should learn from these empires of the past. Times change and nations change, and a nation that does not respect the world paves the way for its own downfall.
