Pakistan shot down 5 Indian aircraft, admits senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy
Subramanian Swamy, a key leader of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), confirmed that Pakistan shot down five Indian aircraft.
On May 7, Pakistan shot down six Indian aircraft, including three Rafales, in response to India’s aggression on Pakistani territory.
In a briefing on May 9, in response to a question about the loss of a Rafale aircraft, Air Marshal AK Bharti of the Indian Air Force had said that losses are part of combat and I cannot give more details than that, it benefits the opposing side.
However, now Subramanian Swamy, a key leader of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, has confirmed that 5 Indian aircraft were shot down by Pakistan.
In an interview, Subramanian Swamy said that Pakistan has shot down 5 of our planes. The planes belonged to China, but China did not shoot them down. The planes it gave to Pakistan are very good. The French planes were not that good, and Pakistani planes shot down 5 Indian planes.
He said that Rafale is not good for us, whatever happened in its purchase, we cannot investigate this matter with Narendra Modi.
