Iran threatens to target military bases in three countries

Iran threatened to target military bases in Britain, France, and the United States for supporting Israel.

According to a foreign news agency report, Iran says that bases and ships will be targeted for supporting Israel.

The Israeli Defense Minister responded by saying that Tehran would burn if Iran did not stop its missile attacks.

Donald Trump has said the US will help defend Israel, and US officials have been quoted in reports as saying that US forces have already helped shoot down Iranian drones and missiles as they approached Israel.

French President Emmanuel Macron also said on Friday that his country would help defend Israel against Iranian retaliation.

The British government has said its forces have not provided any military assistance to Israel as Prime Minister Keir Starmer has stressed the need for a reduction in tensions.

Addressing a UN Security Council meeting, US diplomat McCoy said that there would be serious consequences if US bases or US infrastructure in the region were targeted.
